How can you claim Federal Solar Tax Credit on multiple homes for the same tax year in TurboTax. For example, you purchase solar panels and had it install to your primary home and later the same year you also purchase another home that is NOT a vacation or a rental home but you also purchased solar for as the state of California requires that you purchase solar on any new construction home. TurboTax is allowing you to add it for the primary home, but do not see where in TurboTax you can add a second Federal Solar Tax Credit for the other home that also had solar purchased in the same year?

The credit is allowed for main home and secondary/ vacation homes. The credit is used to reduce your tax liability. I know the form is looking for an address for each home. The credit is 30% of the total. There is not a good way to enter a second home and address. You can enter the full expenses for one address that you select.
Thanks AmyC.
