I am trying to enter my rental into Turbo Tax. I rented 2 of 3 bedrooms for 8 months (and lived in the third bedroom) and then moved and rented 3 of 3 bedrooms for 4 months. Is there a way to enter this information in Turbo Tax and have it do the math? Or do I need to manually split the costs (costs in the first 8 months would be 2/3 deductible and 1/3 of mortgage interest would go to my personal return and then costs in the 4 months would be 100% deductible and 100% of interest would go as rental expense?)

No there isn't a way to have TurboTax do the math, because the program will calculate based on a percentage of square footage. You'll need to do the math in this case.
If you continue to rent the property in this way (by room) you might consider entering as separate units although math would still be involved.
