How can i fix the "Reject Code AL40-050" error, everything i've seen online is about out of state income but I do not get out of state income.

You should go back and double-check the entries on the W-2 just to be sure that you have entered everything correctly. Make sure that Boxes 15, 16, and 17 for the state are entered correctly.
