How can I find out the State identification number that needs to be provided for my Pennsylvanian 1099-G information?

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue's Where do I report the amount listed on Form 1099-G for my state income tax refund? page, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue's EIN is 23-6003112.

Every state has its own 1099-G form, so sometimes the boxes don’t always match what you see in TurboTax.

You only need to report any state income tax refund if you itemized on the previous year's Federal form.

Otherwise, it's not reportable.  On TTax, Step by Step method will eventually ask you about other income,

But, again, don't put state refund unless you itemized for your federal deduction in previous tax year.

The issuer of the 1099 will have its state number on it.
