How and When do I pay GA estimated taxes for 2018?

TurboTax will automatically calculate if you need to pay estimated taxes and the amount you need to pay.

The program will print payment vouchers with your return that will have the (quarterly-4/17; 6/15; 9/17; 1/15) dates printed on them.

The following instructions will guide you to estimated taxes area for your state:

1. Click the State tab (and your state) under the upper left menu (three horizontal lines)
2. Under your state, click Start/Edit next to "Other situations"
3. Click Start/Revisit next to "Estimated Taxes for Next Year" under "Other Forms"
4. Go through the interview questions and the program will guide you

Oh!  I already filed my taxes for 2017 so do I have to file and amended return?

No need to amend. You can go back in and go through the estimated tax section to see if TurboTax populates the vouchers based on your return information.

If it does populate vouchers, you can print them out. They don't have to be e-filed with your return.

If it does not populate vouchers, then the program determined that you do not need to pay estimated taxes based on your input (your withholding amounts were generally enough).

Wait, I don't have a State Tab.  Do I have to click amend return then go to State to be able to go to the estimated taxes?
