Home&Business 2018 freezes on Updater - reinstalled with same error - Turbotax community ID's Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy but my setting was 0 - is there a patch to download?

Turbo Tax software freezes and is unusable.

Sometimes uninstalled or partially installed WIN 10 updates can mess things up ... run an OS update then reboot the computer at least 2 times and try the TT program updater again. 

If that doesn't do it then you can also force an upgrade :
