Health Insurance Coverage

In working thru TurboTax for 2020 return, I am getting a message about a lapse in coverage for a family member in 2019 when there was no lapse.  The automated responses to this question do not seem to cover the situation.  Will I be able to manually fix?

Take a look at the screen before the one that tells you that you have a lapse.  It should have a question about what type of High Deductible Health plan did you (or your spouse) have in 2020.  The choices are Family, Self only, or None. 

If you have been covered under your spouse’s family plan, you might think you should answer Family to the question.  However, the answer should be None.  That might be the cause of the error.
