Hawaii and only income were from my two jobs I placed on my forms.

W-2 's for both jobs? Start by checking your data entry for typos, especially commas and decimals.

Hawaii has several tax brackets.  It's possible that each of your jobs withheld at a tax bracket suitable for that income only, but the two together boosted you into a higher bracket.

Effective January 1, 2018 the top three income tax brackets of 9%, 10%, and 11% (repealed a couple of years ago) have be reinstated.
