Your best option is to file your personal Form 1040 tax return now and amend your return once you have Schedule K-1 from the S-Corp. The only reason to request an extension to file would be if you expect to owe no taxes or have a refund from your return. Otherwise, you should pay the tax you know is due now to avoid penalties and interest if you pay later.
If you have an estimate from the S-Corp, add that information to your return before you file. You can always pay more that you owe. But remember that the IRS doesn't pay interest on overpayments.
