Don't understand why they directed me to a website to pay my GA taxes when they would  let me enter my account debiting info later - and do everything in Turbotax - !!

Who directed you to a website to pay your GA taxes?  If you entered your State tax payment information into TurboTax, then your account should be debited on the selected date.  If this is something outside of TurboTax, I suggest waiting until your selected date of payment before you make any other payments.
