Form IL-8453 - what to do?

I filed my tax returns today. The instructions say to sign and date Form IL-8453 within 1 day of acceptance. Do I need to do this? If so, what should I do with the form once I have signed it?

Also, as I look at Form IL-8453, it says it must be completed and signed by the ERO. What should I do about this?

Form IL-8453 - what to do?

It will be filed electronically through your e-filing. You do not need to send it in.
