Foreign tax paid on long term capital gain from sales of ADR termination

Hello,

Due to an ADR termination sale in my brokerage account, I received $3,000 long term capital gain and paid $1,000 foreign tax.

I am using Turbox desktop version and understand that I need Form 1116 to claim foreign tax credit.  Could you please help to walk through steps to put those numbers in the right interview questions?

BTW, what is the correct foreign income category for this l.t. capital gain? Are they Passive Category Income (Interest, Dividends) or  General Category Income?
