For some reason, I can’t e file my ky 2024 state taxes. It says I can save and efile later, why is that?

There are a couple of possibilities.

Some KY state forms may not yet be available for efiling.  You can check your particular forms with the tool at this link:

Are you trying to efile the Federal and state returns at the same time, or did you already efile your Federal return first separately?   If you efiled the Federal return first separately, then you'll have to wait for the Federal return to be accepted by the IRS before you can efile the state return.

NOTE:  You cannot efile a state return prior to efiling a Federal return.
