Filing extension on trust

Hello, I’ve completed an extension request for myself this year. The reason for doing so is because I have received a trust that I am also responsible for, but did not receive the paperwork in time to seek help filing it. My questions is, does my personal extension include my trust as well, or do I have to request that extension separately. If so, how would I do that? Thank you

You have to request an extension for the trust separately by filing a different form from your personal income tax return.
