Filing 1040NR to report no taxable income

Hello,

I am a nonresident alien engaged in a trade or business in the United States.

Although I have no income to report, the IRS instructions say I still need to file 1040NR.

I have the following questions:

1. Can I file 1040-NR by June 15th (17th in 2024) if I "didn’t receive wages as an employee subject to U.S. income tax withholding"?

2. Online filing programs refuse to let me file to report no income. Should I mail a physical copy of the form?

Thank you for your help.
