I need to file an extension on our New Mexico Taxes, how do I go about doing this?

Extension N.M. Taxes

If you are filing a federal extension, you do not need to submit a NM Application for Extension of Time to File. It is not necessary to file a New Mexico Extension of time to file unless you need more time than the Federal Automatic Extension allows.

If you are not also filing a federal extension, submit form RPD-41096, Application for Extension of Time to File.
