Excess Social Security Credit because Turbotax filed wife's tax under my social security number when filed jointly.

What can be done now that according to the IRS my wife's social security credit was not applied correctly. Turbotax filed all the social security credit under only my social security number when we filed jointly.

Have you received a letter from the IRS about this, or are you referring to your return being rejected by the IRS' e-file system because of the issue?
