ESPP earned income in federal review. It says Employer Stock Compensation Income worksheet: Tearn must be entered. It gives 3 options: No entry, earned income yes, earned income no.

This is inside the "Summary of Compensation Income From Employee Stock Transactions G"

I think this falls under the "Part II Additional Compensation Income to be Form 1040 or Schedule 1 - Taxpayer" (g) Earned income? (see help). I am not sure what exactly earned income mean here?

For context: I added ESPP from my current employer who doesn't add the discount on the W-2.
