Error: Routing Number is too long

I was getting an error in TurboTax Desktop Deluxe on Mac that the routing number entered for my bank was too long. The number was imported from the previous years taxes without any manual entry from myself. I spent about an hour on a support call where the fix was to e-file and receive a check instead of direct deposit. I didn't find that solution helpful and after digging in further I found a bug in the import process in the product.  In the enlarged image below you will see the edited text from viewing the Tax Form in the product. The string "bRoutingnumber" is appended to the routing number of the bank. When attempting to fix the information in the normal screens like Smart Check only digits are displayed and reentering the number continues to fail the check. 

Editing the box directly in the form requires deleting the number and clicking out of the form. At that point you won't see small text and can enter in your routing number allowing you pass smart check and actually file your return for direct deposit into your account.
