Error on Form 8615

On a dependent's tax form, there is an error in the calculation on Form 8615. If the amount of qualified dividends is above $83,200 for the parents, the calculation results in a Federal tax liability exceeding the amount of dependent's taxable income by several thousand dollars. If the amount is less than this amount, then the dependent does not have a tax liability but a refund, the net change is over $7000.

The error was reviewed by several product managers, but the software fix didn't resolve the problem. It is not acceptable for me to have to buy another product (i.e. change and upgrade to the online version) to get the correct answer which is what the nice person on the phone was told to tell me to do.

Please update the software.
