Hi,
When creating my state return from my federal, TurboTax incorrectly added an entry to my PA state capital gains and losses page. I have about 20 stock transactions on my federal capital gains and losses page. On my state return, I have 21 entries, the 20 from my federal return plus the car I drive for Uber and Lyft. I need to delete the entry on the state page. However, the information on the state page indicates that I should delete the record on the federal page. However, obviously nothing should be deleted on the federal return. I contacted support and they advised upgrading so that I can talk to a CPA. However, I shouldn't have to upgrade to resolve a defect in the product.

I am sorry, but we do not have access to your TurboTax account here on the Community Board. Why do you need to remove the Uber/Lyft entry from the State of Pennsylvania Income Tax Return? Was your income earned from your Uber/Lyft business in a different state than Pennsylvania?
I need to remove it because it incorrectly got transferred from just one area on my federal return to two areas on my state return. On my federal return, my Nissan Altima is only in the correct area under ride-sharing. However on my state return, it is under both ride-sharing and capital gains and losses. On the federal return, only my stock transfers are in the capital gains and losses as it should be.
