This is a helpful hint. I was unable to import from Edward Jones. Turbo Tax kept telling me that my Jones profile/password was not valid. After a lot of investigation, I talked to my people at Edward Jones and they told me that most of their clients were having the same problem and Turbo Tax had assured them that it was not a problem with Turbo Tax.
I use FireFox exclusively. One of the suggestions was to clear my cookies. Just on a old programmer gut feel, I went into Edge and signed into Edward Jones. Turbo Tax then immediately passed my information correctly and did the import.
There appears to be a problem that Turbo Tax will only recognize the import if you have signed into Edge. (I didn't check any other browser)
