Education and CE credits for professional beauty Industry

Regardless if you are W2 or self-employed and you attended a trade show or learned online and paid for anything out of pocket, it is deductible. That includes any travel and all other expenses it took to educate in our industry. We are expected to maintain and improve our professional standards. That includes CE credits for renewing our licenses and the licenses themselves. Keep all your receipts or make sure you have a paper trail like your credit card or debit card statements for your records. I have found acid(paper) receipt ink disappears within a year. They are no good if audited. Never pay cash while going to these venues. Everything you buy or pay for is deductible.
