Does Turbotax send a confirmation after immediately submitting the extension? Something that simply states it's been sent?

Generally when using Turbotax I instantly receive an automated message via email or text that states my taxes have been submitted and are pending approval by IRS. I did not have that same experience when submitting my extension. Curious if this is normal for submitting an extension or if I should be concerned.

not immediately. mine took several hours to get notified it was sent and the next day that it was accepted.

log into your account and use the filed extension link to check status.
