Does the stimulus tool allow for Direct Deposit when not required to file a return

I've got things ready to go on the stimulus tool and it says Register but I don't want to hit the button unless I can enter my banking info. Are there more steps after hitting the register button cause I really can't wait god knows how long for a paper check.

Also, I'm a guardian of a minor who receives SS checks deposited into my back account, is that info enough for the government to send the stimulus without me physically adding the banking info? I didn't need to file in '18 or '19.

Yes, if the social security benefits are paid in your name then the payment will be made by the same payment method that you use to receive those payments. Please view this IRS link for more information.
