Does the Free Edition cover Uber driver 1099-Misc. It says i need to upgrade to accurately report? Dont think that wa the case last yer.

A 1099-MISC cannot be entered using the Free Edition because it requires a Schedule C. The same was true last year. If you have expenses to enter, you must upgrade to Self Employed. If you have no expenses, you can enter the income only using Deluxe.
