My son (12) is inheriting a beneficiary IRA from his late grandmother, my mother.
My ex has legal "custody", but of course I have visitation and pay child support, etc.
So, in filling out the paperwork for the new account for my son's beneficiary IRA, can I sign the paperwork as the "Custodian" of the account, and manage the account until he is 18?
Thanks.
