Does anyone know how IRS classifies a HUF (Hindu Undivided Family)? Is it a trust or a partnership? Where do I report any income I receive from it? Thanks!

You would have to make a selection on the tax treatment as to how you want your HUF to be taxed.  You could do it as a trust or a partnership.  There are advantages to both.  I would classify it as a partnership since all the members have equal say in all matters but you could also set it up as a trust.  It might be best to consult an attorney as you structure your group.
