Hi, thanks for any help with this issue.
I had health insurance through my employer.
My 23 y/o son lived with me all of 2023, had $0.00 income. So I am claiming him as a dependent.
He had health care through Covered California.
I am filing as head of household.
Do I need to enter his 1095-A?
I am asking because my $2000+ Federal refund turned into me owning $1093 after I entered his 1095-A.
Why are they taking so much money?

Since your dependent received a 1095-A, you do need to enter it on your tax return. The 1095-A is used to complete the Premium Tax Credit Form 8962 and reconcile the Premium Tax Credit. From what you described, your son may have taken more of the advanced premium tax credit than he was qualified for, which is why you may owe taxes.
You can review The TurboTax articles What is Form 1095-A: Health Insurance Marketplace Statement and What is the Premium Tax Credit (PTC... for more information.
Thanks, I read some of what you linked but I don't understand most of it.
