Do I have to upgrade to deluxe to enter my 1099-MISC or can I stick with regular?

I would prefer to save as much money as I can and if I don't have to spend 54.99 to upgrade, I don't want to.

If you wish to enter information for a 1099-MISC you will have to upgrade to Deluxe, Premier, or Self-Employed. You will have to upgrade because the 1099-MISC is not supported by the Federal Free Edition.
