Yes, if she had income in 2023, and you have the needed information, you can prepare a return for her in TurboTax. The program will ask you in the Personal Info section if the return is being prepared for someone who passed away.

I adopted my daughter as a single parent in 2003. There is no father. Why cant i claim head of household? She is a full time student in college.
