Did not make enough to file taxes

Our dependent is in college. She had a job with the university for the 2022 tax year but earned less than the minimum amount to file taxes (and was not interest or dividends). She did receive a W-2 for 2022. Now for 2023, after a paid internship and summer job she has earned enough to file taxes. However, the return was rejected because they need an AGI for 2022 - which she was not required to file. How do we fix this now.
