Did not get my $15.00 Merrill Lynch discount

I started using the link for turbo tax thru Merrill Lynch which promised a $15.00 discount. When I finished my taxes and paid I did not get the $15.00 discount. How do I receive that credit back to my credit card?

I did not get last year, so this year I should deduct 30.00?

Please verify the appropriate discount has been applied before paying your total amount due. Also, make sure you are preparing the return on the affiliate partner's website under the TurbooTax icon.

To get the discount:

1. Go to the website provided by Merrill Lynch (or your bank, insurance company etc, that is offering the discounted pricing), and select the TurboTax link or icon. This will take you to the TurboTax-branded affiliate site with the discounted pricing.
2. Select your TurboTax edition, then sign in and start your tax return.
3. When you get to "Review your order" you should see the discounted price along with the message stating that your discount has been applied.

Note: Our specialists are unable to apply or issue refunds for affiliate discounts if the return was prepared at the regular TurboTax.com site.

If you followed the preceding steps and your affiliate discount has not been applied, try deleting your cookies. Then follow these steps:

1. Go back to the website provided by your bank, credit union, or insurance company, and select the TurboTax link or icon. This will take you to the TurboTax-branded affiliate site with the discounted pricing.
2. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
3. Select Tax Tools on the left, and then Tools.
4. Select My Fees. It should show the discount.

If you were already using TurboTax or you have been to the TurboTax website before you went to the affiliate partner's website, you would need to clear your cache and delete your cookies or it may remember that you were using the TurboTax from the nonaffiliated website.  You must start fresh at the affiliate partner website for it to apply the discount.
