My son turned 18 May 19,2023 graduated high school at the end of May 2023 then left to Chicago to start Military training in August 2023. He earned a 30,000 sign on bonus and is planning to file can I still claim him as a dependent on my tax return

Yes, you can still claim the $500 Other Dependent Tax Credit.   You can claim him, no matter what his income is, until he turns 19.
