deduction for lawyers fees on form 1041

hi am trying to determine if lawyers fees for the opening, closing and court fees and filings for my deceased fathers estate are an allowable deduction. seems they are if the fees were for the "administration" of the state. seems they are not if they were for the "probate"of the estate.

Legal fees and expenses for estate administration and probate would be allowable as deductions.
