death of elderly mother

I do my mother's taxes on TurboTax. She recently died, no probate, no legal complications. Can I do her taxes for 2022 as usual in 2023.

Very sorry about your loss. It is difficult having a death in the family.

Please refer to the below article addressing your question.

As indicated, in the Personal Info section, you need to check the box "Passed away before filing this return", and input Date Passed Away.
