Costs of goods sold for c corp return.

Should I enter the employee salary under cost of goods sold as well.  I read that what was paid to the employee needs to match the costs of goods sold.

No.  Salaries and wages should be entered in the salaries and wages section.

Costs of goods sold for c corp return.

You can include direct costs of labor (i.e., labor costs directly related to the production of merchandise) on Form 1125-A.

 

However, ensure that you do not also include the same costs as an expense (salaries and wages) on Form 1120.
