Corrected type of gain vs reported type of gain, keeps kicking out as ERROR. Sold IBM stock that I have held for over 10 years and I classify it as L or long term gain.

Can't see what the error is in order to correct it.  Appears that it is classified as L in both spots on the Turbotax entry.  This is the exact error message.  "Capital Gain Wks (23 sh. IBM).  Corrected Type of GNn(Ls) should differ from reported type of gain (loss)."  What is it trying to say is the error?  Where do I check for the error.

did you enter purchase and sales dates.  check them. it  may be you mistyped the acg date and so it thinks it should be short term when you forced long term

look at the 1099-B worksheet.  though clicking on the error should take yo to the spot.
