Child Credit Not Applicable because recognizing the wrong age?

For some reason the program will not qualify my 6 year old daughter for the Child Tax Credit because it keeps saying she's over the age of 17. Her correct Social Security number has been put in and so has all of her information. The program even recognizes that she's age 6 but still says she's over the age maximum??? Help!

Unfortunately, we can't see your screen to see where you are, so I'll have to ask you a couple of questions.

In the My Info section, did you double check the child's birth date?
- Specifically the year?
Where did you see that TurboTax recognizes that she is 6 years old?
Where did it say that see was 17 years old?
