I am trying to download my brokerage tax info from my Charles Schwab accounts. I have gone through all the steps several times, connected to my account and TurboTax says "We got your tax information you can now go back to TurboTax". When I go back there is no information downloaded and I'm on the page I started on to find the brokerage account from the long list.

you don't download it. The PDF that you would download is not importable. Rather you import from a special file at Schwab
on the file tab select import
select from financial institution
a new window opens
type in schwab
double click on charles schwab when that shows up
follow the instructions carefully
eventually, you come to a window at schwab's website where the importable files show up
select those you want
and then follow the remaining instructions
check your import. some have reported problems importing from various FIs
it's your responsibility to see that everything was imported properly.
Thank you for the reply and sorry it took so long to respond - however the solution you provided did not work. I had previously done all the steps you offered several times. Nothing was downloaded to the computer and nothing appeared in my tax information. Turbotax tells you that the information is downloaded and returns you to the page you started from. Very irritating. Hopefully next year it will be fixed.
I'm having the same issue
Mine downloaded fine. I am using Mac Deluxe, but I did the download through the Inestment Income section. I received that same message you did, but my 1099-INT, DIV and B were all there.
How do I download from Schwab now rather than wait for investments area
Do you want to Import from Schwab brokerage, or do you mean download your Schwab account info to your computer?
If you want to import, and your Schwab account is consolidated for interest, dividends, and stocks, in the Wages & Income section, choose Stocks. On the next page, scroll down to 'add Investments' and type in 'Schwab'. Double-click to open the Sign In page from the Search results.
In TurboTax Online, if you download a PDF copy of your 1099-B's, you can attach it to your tax return, so no need to import.
You can make a one-line entry for Totals in the 1099-INT/DIV sections, instead of importing.
