Change payment plan

Yes, you can pay your taxes in full instead of making payments.

If you are talking about making one estimated payment instead of four for 2024, you can just change the amount of your first payment to the total of all four payments.

If you set that up as direct debits, you will need to contact the IRS to change your payments. Follow this link and use the information under Cancellations, errors and questions to change the payments you set up.

If you want to make just the last payment instead of four estimated payments, you can do that, but you may incur a penalty for not paying enough as your go.

If you set up a payment plan and now want to pay in full instead, you can just pay the entire amount at any point. If you want to modify an electronic payment plan you already set up, follow this link for more on that.
