Can my permit license be okay to put as a driver's license?

I'm trying to identify my identity. It's giving me two options which is to provide a driver's license or a State ID or "I don't have nay of these forms of ID".

It depends on what you permit license is like. If your permit license comes from your state's DMV and more or less looks like a driver's license, with a photo, a driver's license number, and date of birth, you can enter  it as a State issued ID.

If your permit license is missing a photo, a driver's license number, or date of birth, select "I don't have any of these forms of ID".
