Yes, you can. Delete your state return and file your federal return. You can print your federal return and use that information to prepare your simple state return elsewhere.
It also depends on who will be preparing the state return. If it's another provider like TurboTax, you could have a problem, depending on their requirements. With TurboTax, for instance, one cannot prepare a state return without first preparing the Federal return with TurboTax, because the info flows from the Federal return into the state return. So do the homework and check with the other provider to be sure what they will allow in your situation.
Some states allow the state return to be prepared and filed at the state tax agency's website, so that might be another option if your state does that and you qualify.
