You can file an amended return (1040X) and make changes to information included on your original return (the IRS won't allow you to alter & re-send your original return).
You'll need to wait until your original return has been processed by IRS and any refund issued. Then you can prepare the amended return and make any changes. The IRS requires that amended returns be filed on paper rather than e-filed.
