HSA funds must be spent on "qualified medical expenses", as defined in IRS Pub 502.
Generally, non-prescription items can't be paid for with HSA funds.
However, if a doctor prescribes the same items as necessary medical care expenses which are "primarily to alleviate or prevent a physical or mental disability or illness", then the HSA funds can be used.
If the doctor documents this in a Letter of Medical Necessity that because of underlying conditions or your high risk of injury from Covid-19 (or any other disease, for that matter) you must use these items to "prevent a physical...illness" that you are at risk for, then if anyone ever questions this use of HSA funds, you would refer to this letter as justification.
Really, it depends on how concerned your doctor is that you are at risk and these items will sharply reduce that risk. If she/he is willing to write the letter or a prescription, then I would go ahead and spend the funds. If not, you would be on your own if you did so.
