If you entered your information incorrectly, you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to have it changed
If you have already filed the tax return there is no way to change the direct deposit information that you entered. If you call the IRS at 800-829-1040 they might be able to stop the direct deposit and send you a check in the mail instead.
If the IRS sends the direct deposit, and the bank account has been closed, the bank will reject the direct deposit. The IRS will then send you a check in the mail. It could take several extra weeks for that to happen.
