Is she considered disabled for tax purposes? Turbo tax asked.

Disabled for tax purposes means unable to perform gainful work, due to a condition that is permanent, or will last at least one year, or will lead to death.   It is not clear from your previous question (which you edited) whether your daughter could perform gainful work.

In any case, it should not matter in your situation. A person who is a full-time student and 23 or younger is a dependent if they live at home more than half the year, and if they do not earn more than half their own living costs.  Even when college students are away at college, this is considered a temporary absence, and they are usually understood to still live at home with their parents, unless they have a more significant change in living situation.

If TurboTax is suggesting that your child is not a dependent unless she is disabled, then you may have answered the question about residency or support incorrectly. You can go back to the start of the dependent interview and run it again and check your answers.
