I moved to WA from CA in Jul 2024 - Jul 06 to be exact. Jul 06 is also the date we got the possession of our new house in WA. How will CA taxes be calculated in my case? From Jan 01 - Jul 05 = 182 out of 366 days on the total income? Is the total annual income considered for taxation or what I was paid until I left CA? For example, I was paid a bonus in Sept. Is that exempt from CA taxes?

Your income will be allocated between the two states based on the time that you were a resident of each state. Your bonus shouldn't be taxed in CA since you were a WA resident when you received it. Review How do I allocate (split) income for a part-year state return? for further explanation.
Follow the steps below to file part-year resident state tax returns for each state.
If you've already entered your personal information, review your entries to help ensure that TurboTax will help you create the correct part-year tax returns.
After you complete your federal tax return and you move to the State Taxes sections, you will only see a part-year tax return for CA since WA doesn't have state income tax.
