CA state tax credit for energy efficient installation

I forgot to include my purchase of energy efficient heater/air conditioner on my tax returns that have already been submitted and accepted. I was able to fill out an amendment (1040X) for the federal tax, but how do I do it for the CA state return. There is a list of potential tax credit categories and energy efficient installation doesn't seem to be on the list. How do I submit the amendment to the state? And does the state allow tis category of tax credit?

No, there's no California credit that corresponds to what you claimed on your amended federal return.

There were some energy efficiency credits, but they've been repealed. See Repealed Credits in the Personal Income Tax Booklet for more information.
