Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Buyer Beware - once you "upgrade" (more $) there's no way to downgrade back (except to erase ALL your data and start again).

NOTE: if you want to test-drive an "upgraded" product but then decide that you don't need it/want it, there's only one way to downgrade back to the cheaper model you prefer.  The only one way to reverse an upgrade (no matter where you are in the process of filing) is to blitzkrieg your data and start from scratch. This is a predatory design... clear and simple.  So, UPGRADE PRODUCTS WITH EXTREME CAUTION

NOTE: If you pay your taxes on Turbo Tax (with a credit card, at least) there's really tiny print you need to know about. There's a 2.49% "convenience fee" for paying through Turbo Tax.  If your bill is, say, $3000, you have an added $80 convenience fee. You can only know this by reading the small print.

SUMMARY: Buyer Beware. While they are friendly on the front end, they are predatory on the back end.  Much the same way they were just forced to pay a class-action law suit for predatorily luring in "free filers" and then persuading them to upgrade to a product the customer didn't need.

I hope this helps others avoid the black hole of profiteering that is the Turbo Tax design.
